Years of Sally - 2020

2020 was the last year, to date, that Sally appeared on Stage. She starred, with Tom Chambers, in the UK tour of "Dial M for Murder". "What's on Stage" described the show as...

"Chambers (Top Hat) plays Tony Wendice, an ex-tennis pro who has given up his career for wife Margot, played by Sally Bretton (Not Going Out, Death in Paradise). When he discovers that she has been unfaithful, he attempts to stage the perfect crime."

An amusing outing, for Sally in 2020, was when she appeared in a short movie, with Mark Addy, called "Swan". Sally and Mark play married couple Donna and Ian. Ian has achieved the ultimate level of British Citizenship which entitles him to transition into being a Swan. Donna attempts to patiently support her eccentric husband in this very odd but still funny story. Well worth a watch!

Series 11, of "Not Going Out", was quickly to follow Series 10. Lee and Lucy take in a parcel for the house across the street. They, inadvertently, discover it's eye opening contents. The intense rivalry, between Lee and Lucy, boils over when they take part in a local pub quiz. Lee and Anna v Lucy and Toby. Frank gets a girlfriend. Lee meets up with an old flame. The family visit war graves. The series wound up with a Christmas Pantomime with guest appearances from Jason Donovan and Rick Astley.
